Miehet II: Kakkosjoukkue vahvistuneena kauteen 2013-2014

Joukkueen pelaajiston vaihtuvuus viime kaudesta on todella suuri, johtuen ehkä osaltaan heikosta menestyksestä. Jatkavia pelaajia on päällystön saamien tietojen mukaan määrä joka mahtuu takuulla yhden käden sormiin. Uusia pelaajia lienee näillä näkymin jopa yli kaksi kourallista, muutaman pelaajan kohtalo on vielä auki. Pelaajistoon mahtuu monenlaista pelimiestä: kädettömiä raatajia, pikkunäppäriä taiteilijoita ja kaikkea siltä väliltä. Kokoonpano tulee elämään varmasti kauden aikana poissaolojen myötä. Tästä johtuen kiikaroimme mahdollisesti muutamaa puolustustaidot omaavaa pelaajaa joukkueeseemme.

Pelillisesti ehkä suurin haaste tulee olemaan ehjä ja kurinalainen puolustuspeli. Hyökkäysintoa varmasti riittää ja maalintekovastuu tullee jakautumaan monen pelaajan harteille. Joukkue lähtee kuitenkin parantamaan ja hitsaamaan peliään kauden edetessä, tavoitellen ehkä jopa sarjan kärkipaikkoja.

Ensimmäinen joukkuepelin mittari on edessä 14.9., kun siilinjärveläinen Rökäletappio järjestää neljän joukkueen harjoitusturnauksen johon porukkamme osallistuu. Seuraava tapahtuma on jo seuraavana viikonloppuna järjestettävä Raatti Cup Tahko Spalla. Sarjakausi alkaa sunnuntaina 13.10 Keiteleellä, jossa vastaan asettuvat KallSi ja SB Welhot III.

Kaikenkaikkiaan kausi tulee olemaan suurella todennäköisyydellä mielenkiintoinen kentällä ja sen ulkopuolella.
