Edustusjoukkueella kaksijakoinen reissu Keiteleelle

SB Raatti – KarTe 4 – 8
Sunnuntaina 7.11 SB Raatin edustusjoukkue matkusti Keiteleelle täysi pistepotti tähtäimessään. Ensimmäisessä pelissä Karttulan Tennisseuraa vastaan kaukaloon astelikin päättäväinen rykelmä valkopaitoja. Ottelu alkoi mainiosti selkeässä Raatin hallinnassa KarTen tyytyessä ottamaan iskuja vastaan. Nilsiäläisrivistö nakuttikin ensimmäisessä erässä taululle 3-0 lukemat. Maaleista vastasivat Pekka Aho, Kimmo Korkalainen ja Sami Räsänen. Näissä lukemissa siis siirryttiin erätauolle. Tauon aikana valmennusjohto painotti pelin jatkamista ensimmäisen erän tyyliin, joka oli juuri sitä, mitä muutama edellisviikko oli päättäväisesti harjoiteltu.

Mutta toinen erä jatkuikin lähes päinvastaisesti, mitä oli sovittu ja vastustaja päästettiin peliin mukaan helpoilla pallonmenetyksillä ja kurittomalla pelaamisella. Niinpä karttulalaisryhmittymä voittikin erän 0-3 ja toi pelin tasoihin erätauolle mentäessä.

Myös kolmas erä oli Raatin osalta aivan karmeaa sohlausta ja pallonmenetyksiä tuli solkenaan. Välillä jopa yliaktiivinen puolustuspelaaminen aukoi rakoja vääriin paikkoihin ja vastustaja pääsi niistä rokottamaan todella kovalla prosentilla. Raattilaisten pööpöillessä vastustajan Pasi Karhunen ratkaisi ottelun tekemällä kolmannessa erässä neljä perättäistä maalia noin seitsemään minuuttiin. Ilman maalivahtia kuudella neljää vastaan Joni Toivasen tekemästä 4-7 kavennuksesta ei paljon lohtua ollut, kun naapuri rankaisi vielä kertaalleen ja sinetöi lopputulokseksi 4-8 tyhjään maaliin.

SB Tumut – SB Raatti 2 – 10
Toinen peli näytti lähtevän käyntiin siitä, mihin edellinen jäi, kun vastaan marssinut SB Tumut teki ottelun avausmaalin jo 21:n sekunnin jälkeen. Pari minuuttia tästä Miikka Hanski toi Raatin kuitenkin tasoihin millintarkalla vedollaan alanurkkaan. Seuraavat kaksi maalia tulivat jälleen raattilaisten mailoista, kun Vesa Jääskeläinen siirsi pallon pömpeliin Kimmo Korkalaisen syötöstä ja vain minuutti tästä Joni Toivanen kajautti kuuluisan kiertorannarinsa tolpan kautta sisään. Parin minuutin kuluttua Tumut kavensi lukemiksi 2-3, mutta vain hetkeä myöhemmin Jani Riekkinen sanoi oman painavan sanansa ja kuittasi erätaukolukemiksi 2-4.

Erätauolla joukkue teki sopimuksen, että oma maali pysyy siitä hetkestä eteenpäin puhtaana ja lahjamaalit loppuvat siihen. Erää edettiinkin jälleen Raatin hallinnassa, mutta erän ainokaisesta vastasi Pasi Viinikainen muuttaen lukemat jo 2-5:een. Sopimus siis piti ainakin toistaiseksi eikä omissa pöllähtänyt kertaakaan.

Kun kolmatta erää oli jäljellä enää reilu kaksi minuuttia, SB Tumut päätti turvautua aikalisään pyrkimyksenä horjuttaa SB Raatin vahvaa pallollista peliä. Aikalisän teho oli kuitenkin vähintäänkin kyseenalainen, kun Raatin Korkalainen käynnisti kymmenen sekuntia aikalisän päätyttyä hurjan loppushow:n. Nilsiän mylly jauhoikin huimat viisi maalia reiluun kahteen minuuttiin. Maaleista ylivoimaisesti komein oli maalivahti Markus Ahon pitkästä heitosta käynnistynyt tilanne, jossa koko päivän erittäin pirteästi esiintynyt Viinikainen otti pallon haltuun täydessä vauhdissa ja kilautti reikäpallon aivan yläpeltiin eikä jättänyt veräjänvartijalle minkäänlaista saumaa. Loppulukemat siis komeat 2-10.

Ensimmäisen pelin ensimmäinen erä alkoi jo näyttää siltä peliltä, jota ollaan koko alkukausi odoteltu, mutta toinen ja kolmas erä ei jättänyt kotiin kerrottavaa. Toinen peli oli erittäin ehjä kokonaisuus paria ensimmäisen erän nukahdusta lukuun ottamatta. Pelaaminen on ollut koko alkukauden todella ailahtelevaa, mutta toinen peli antaa paljon uskoa tuleviin koitoksiin. Nyt on junan suunta muuttunut ja siitä lähdetään, että vauhti vain kiihtyy seuraavassa turnauksessa 21.11 Kuopiossa, analysoi joukkueen valmentaja Markku Turunen.
